Wednesday’s Site of the Day!
Welcome to Wednesday’s site of the day! Here I will highlight a great site that I use or have found to use in my classroom.
Today’s site is “Teaching That Makes Sense” (http://www.ttms.org/index.htm). One of the listservs I am a member of highlighted this site today, so I thought I would spread the 
word around as well. This site has a number of articles, thoughts, suggestions on daily practice in the classroom. These are, for the most part, listed as pdf’s which is great. Some of the articles the author has listed include, “The Writing Teacher’s Strategy Guide”, “All’s Well That Spell’s Well” and “The Five Facts of Fiction”. The one caveat that I may have is that this apparently is a company that sells services to school districts. With this in mind, you may need to go through the information with a skeptical mind. However, what I have seen seems to be really informative and relevant.
