Hello there!
This is my first blog posting. I have thought about starting a blog for awhile. However, I was never sure how I would develop a blog that would be relevant and not just a posting of daily events that have no interest to anyone but myself. The key was to provide a context and reason for a conversation that would not just be a dialogue with myself. It could include others and thus constructively develop ideas on topics and issues that mattered and were important to education.
Currently I am involved in a Masters in Educational Technology program. As a part of the course I am working on right now, we have been asked to create a blog detailing our thoughts, ideas and comments on the various issues presented in class.
This will be my context and my springboard to create the conversation and reflection I feel is becoming more important to us as educators, especially with the rapidly changing world we are living in right now.
